The Descendants (2011) is a comedy, adaptation, and a dramatic movie, slated to be released on November 18, 2011. This film is under the direction of Alexander Payne, the famous American director and screenwriter, his films are noted for their dark humor and satirical depictions of contemporary American society. He based this movie which is The Descendants on Kaui Hart Hemmings’ novel. It is under the distribution of Fox Searchlight Pictures. For sure this movie will make a name in the movie industry, because of the famous and excellent actors and actresses behind it.
Speaking of the famous and excellent stars, one of them is George Clooney the face of this film, he made it into stardom it is because of his charm. Some stars were, Shailene Woodley, Mary Birdsong, Nick Krause, Judy Greer, Beau Bridges, Matthew Lillard, Robert Foster, and Amara Miller.
Here, Matt King (George Clooney) husband of Alexandra King (Shailene Woodley) and a father of a two girls became indifferent, after his wife suffers a boating accident and falls into coma, Matt King forced his self to re-examine his past and embrace his future. The accident of his wife leads to a rapprochement of his two young daughters that made him become wrestles. Through this, it turns into a point that Matt decided to sell the family’s land handed down from Hawaiian Royalty and missionaries, until he found out the secret of his wife, and that is his wife other men.
